Bio

Dr. Chang was born and raised in Southern California. After completing his undergraduate work at UCLA in molecular, cell, and developmental biology, he then graduated from the David Geffen School of Medicine and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa and AOA Honors Societies. Dr. Chang now works as the chief resident of the urology department at the University of Washington. His research interests include prostate cancer detection using MRI-US fusion biopsy and active surveillance for prostate cancer. His personal interests include basketball (Lakers), football (UCLA Bruins), kayaking (started when he moved to Seattle), ping pong, and esports. He is an ENTJ on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and an 8 on the Enneagram.
