Bio

Sayak currently attends the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he is solidifying core medical concepts while gaining insight and firsthand experience of their practical applications. He graduated summa cum laude from New York University with a B.S. in Neuroscience and Chemistry and has worked on multiple research projects including clinical trials testing behavioral markers for Parkinsonian patients.His rigorous school curriculum along with extensive research experience has equipped him well with a comprehensive understanding of relevant scientific concepts as well as strong skills in critical thinking and analysis, two equally important facets of succeeding on the MCAT.

In high school, Sayak tutored students to improve scores in the SAT and its various subject tests. In college, Sayak taught health education to high school students in underserved areas throughout the greater New York City area.

As an MCAT tutor, Sayak personalizes his curriculum to each of his students, identifying strengths and weaknesses early on and tailoring his content review accordingly. Along the way, Sayak imparts various strategies and techniques to approaching the MCAT questions, effectively rewiring the way his students think.

Lastly, he understands that each student is different with varying levels of external obligations, and he makes sure to help them find a balance in order to foster endurance and make the learning experience enjoyable for both the tutor and the student.
