Dr. Whitney Moomaw graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University with a degree in ecology and evolutionary biology. During undergraduate, she wrote a thesis on the biology of race. She then attended the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine where she served on the admissions committee as a fourth-year medical student and was involved in pre-clinical medical education writing. She completed residency and fellowship training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in anatomic and clinical pathology (AP/CP) and gastrointestinal and liver pathology, respectively. During her time in training, she was involved in the resident selection process. She is board certified in AP/CP and now works as a GI pathologist in the Baltimore, MD area.
