Allison Murphy graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2021 with a degree in biology: neuroscience and a minor in mathematics. While at WashU, Allison worked on several research projects studying the genetic basis of Alzheimer’s disease and served as a teaching assistant. These experiences translate to helping students employ critical thinking skills and develop strategies for analyzing complex
science passages and questions.
Allison scored in the 99th percentile on the MCAT and is excited to work with students and share the strategies and knowledge she learned while studying! As an MCAT tutor, she enjoys curating personalized and detailed plans to optimize studying. She also focuses on finding the best study tools and approaches for each student’s unique strengths.
