Kyle Gibson was born and raised in Riverside, CA. He graduated with honors from the University of California, Berkeley with a BA in public health as a recipient of the Posse scholarship. During his time at UC Berkeley, Kyle was leader in peer-tutoring, mentorship, and translational research. After graduating, Kyle matriculated at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai through their FlexMed early assurance program.
In medical school, he has continued to teach, mentor, and advise both undergraduate and medical students. He received a 267 on Step 1, 274 on Step 2CK, and scored > 90th percentile on all his shelf exams. He also received honors in nearly all his core clinical rotations. Kyle is passionate about teaching and is excited to assist fellow medical students achieve their goals. Kyle is interested in cardiology and plans to continue his involvement in medical education. Outside of medicine, Kyle enjoys cooking, baking, working out, and spending time with his dog Sunday.
