Bio

Jordan was born and raised in Philadelphia. After graduating high school, he attended Columbia University in New York and earned a BA in American studies. He then earned his MA in American studies from King’s College London. At both institutions, his research focused on contemporary literature and the lived experiences of transnational migrants. He went on to receive a MFA in fiction from New York University, where he was the recipient of an Axinn Foundation/E.L. Doctorow Fellowship.

In the professional realm, Jordan has over 10 years of experience helping individuals, companies, and charitable institutions craft their unique messages for a variety of audiences and stakeholders. He has worked extensively in the field of admissions consulting, including medical school, assisting over one hundred applicants gain admission into their top undergraduate and graduate programs.
