Karen is a rising senior at Rice University where she is pursuing a degree in neuroscience. She has a wealth of research experience spanning almost three years, which makes her especially equipped at translating and breaking down science passages on the MCAT. Additionally, Karen has experience as a tutor, including working with middle school students as a biology teaching assistant and teaching adult learners English as part of her school’s program for promoting adult literacy. She has also worked closely with undergraduate students as an upper-division neuroscience teacher assistant for the past year.
