Dr. Patel began his journey to medicine by studying chemistry at New York University (NYU). During this time, he was a tutor and teaching assistant for chemistry and organic chemistry courses. He also spent time in India, completing medical missions in various medically underserved villages. After earning his bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Dr. Patel attended the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix, where he served on the admissions committee. He then completed his residency at Mayo Clinic, specializing in otolaryngology, head and neck surgery.
Five years ago, Dr. Patel redirected his career toward teaching, business, and healthcare administration. He earned his MBA in healthcare administration from the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management, equipping him with specialized skills to lead in medical management. Since then, he has served as CEO of a major medical group in Phoenix and now holds the position of Co-CEO for a large surgical group, where he oversees operations and strategic growth. Additionally, Dr. Patel contributes his expertise to Osmosis, a health education platform, where he works as a consultant and clinical content writer.
