Bio

Cindy graduated from Brown University with a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Throughout her undergraduate career, she has worked on several research projects such as lab-based HIV translational research and clinical research on diabetes. Her research experiences have allowed her to solidify and strengthen strategies that will help students break down difficult research-based passages on the MCAT. Cindy also worked as a Teaching Assistant for both Organic Chemistry and General Chemistry courses and has also worked as a private biology tutor. As an MCAT tutor, Cindy plans to equip students with the strategies and tools to approach unfamiliar and complex passages in an engaging learning environment during her sessions. She also hopes to strengthen students’ foundational knowledge by developing unique analogies and strategies to address memory gaps in content. Cindy pays special attention to her students’ wellbeing during the difficult time period of MCAT preparation and helps students find an optimal balance between studying and personal fulfillment. She is committed to meeting her students wherever they are in their MCAT preparation and helping them succeed on the MCAT.
