Prior to medical school, he spent multiple years instructing outdoor adventure sports such as whitewater kayaking and skiing. He plans to pursue training in diagnostic radiology and has conducted research on complications related to interventional biliary procedures.
John believes in maximizing study efficiency to enable a work/life balance. He has competed in multiple ultramarathons during medical school and credits his study methods for this flexibility. He scored a 265 on STEP 2, ranked in the top 10% of his class, and was elected to AOA. He looks forward to working longitudinally with others to solidify their knowledge base for success both on the wards and on standardized tests.
