Bio

Luke is currently a medical student at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), where he is interested in surgical research and device development. He graduated from the University of Alabama with an honors degree in Biology. He is currently involved in multiple research projects, including research with catalysts in an organic chemistry lab and a clinical study on the use of liposomal bupivacaine in pain management for uterine fibroid embolization patients.

Luke works as a Teaching Assistant at MUSC and also worked as a peer tutor throughout his time at the University of Alabama. He has a genuine passion for tutoring science topics. As an MCAT tutor, Luke focuses on helping students understand the material by breaking down difficult ideas into their simplest components. His understanding of chemistry provides him with a unique ability to simplify difficult chemistry and physics passages for students. He emphasizes test-taking and study strategies that help students become more efficient with their preparation. He also encourages students to find a healthy balance in their schedules while preparing for the exam.
