Dr. Chopra graduated with a bachelor’s in religious studies from Cornell University. As an undergraduate, she won a coveted scholarship to study for one year at Oxford University. After returning to the United States, Dr. Chopra confirmed her decision to apply to medical school and engaged in meaningful leadership activities, such as creating a five-day health policy conference at Cornell. These activities, along with a well-crafted medical school application, helped Dr. Chopra obtain interviews to several top medical schools and ultimately receive a half-tuition scholarship to attend University of Texas Southwestern, a top 20 medical school. While there, Dr. Chopra interviewed prospective medical students and received an insider’s view into the admissions process. After medical school, Dr. Chopra attended her top-choice residency program in family medicine before transitioning to a nonclinical career in the health tech industry. She is passionate about helping students craft an excellent application and achieve their goals.
